Corrosion-Inhibiting Foam Scavenger for Gas Wells

I. System Features

Combining the molecular characteristics of foaming agents and corrosion inhibitors, we propose an integrated technology of foam drainage and corrosion protection. Through molecular design and chemical compounding technology, we have developed a corrosion-inhibiting foam scavenger that integrates foaming and corrosion inhibition functions.

II. Technical Principle

Imidazoline-type corrosion inhibitors are a type of betaine-type surfactant foaming agent. Through molecular design, the molecules of this type are modified to achieve comprehensive performance of both foaming and corrosion inhibition.

III. Performance Characteristics

The new corrosion-inhibiting foam scavenger has a foam carrying rate of over 65%, a corrosion inhibition rate of over 80%, and a corrosion rate of less than 0.076 mm/a. It exhibits excellent foaming and corrosion inhibition performance, with stable chemical composition and good compatibility with on-site water, making it suitable for on-site application.
