  Diethylene glycol monoethyl ether acetate is mainly used as a solvent for metal and furniture spray paints, as well as a solvent for brush-applied paints. It can also be used as a solvent for protective coatings, dyes, resins, leather, and inks. Additionally, it is applied in the formulation of hard surface cleaners for metals, glass, etc., and serves as a chemical reagent.
