Product characteristics

It is prepared by esterification of glycerol with long chain fatty acids containing C16-C18. It is a nonionic surfactant. It has hydrophilic and lipophilic genes, wetting, emulsifying, foaming and so on.

Functions. This product is a milky white waxy solid, soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone and ether solutions.

Product application

It glyceride monostearate is an emulsifier and additive for food; used as an emulsifier in cosmetics and pharmaceutical ointments to make the ointment delicate and smooth; used as an emulsifier for industrial silk oil and lubricant for textiles; used in plastics.

It can be used as dripping agent and antifogging agent in film, lubricant and antistatic agent in plastic processing, defoamer, dispersant, thickener and wetting agent in other aspects.

Recommended dosage

2~10%.
