Uses: Oleamidopropyl Betaine is a new - type special amphoteric surfactant. It belongs to the same series as Lauramidopropyl Betaine, both being modified derivatives of alkyl betaines. Oleamidopropyl Betaine has features such as high temperature resistance, acid - base resistance, good salt resistance, wide isoelectric point, and strong viscoelasticity. It is widely used in oil field oil - displacement, leather, daily - use chemicals and other fields. As a good viscoelastic surfactant used in matrix acidizing of oil fields, it can effectively reduce the oil - water interfacial tension and improve the recovery rate of tertiary oil recovery. It can also be used as a conditioning agent, wetting agent, bactericide, antistatic agent, emulsifier, thickener, and in self - diverting acid systems for carbonate acidizing.
