Guanosine 5'-monophosphate disodium salt is a flavor enhancer which is a crystalline powder, colorless or white, and has characteristic taste. It is soluble in water, sparingly soluble in alcohol, and practically insoluble in ether. It is obtained by chemical synthesis. It is also termed sodium 5-guanylate and disodium guanosine-5-monophosphate

I + G is the newest scientific achievement and is a new-aged food flavor enhancer of nucleotide.This product consists of 5’-IMP and 5’-GMP as per proportion of 1:1. It can be added into food directly, which will make an obvious contribution to food taste. It is the key ingredient to make flavor to the sauce, seasoning, gallinaceous crystal and gallinaceous powder.

[Chemical properties]

It appears as colorless to white crystalline or crystalline powder, usually containing 7 molecules of crystal water, being odorless, having unique flavor similar to mushrooms.
