Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid, commonly known as EDTA Acid, is a widely used chelating agent with stable chemical properties and strong metal ion chelating ability.
It is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 240℃ (decomposes). Insoluble in cold water, alcohols, and general organic solvents; slightly soluble in hot water; soluble in sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, and ammonia solutions.
