4. Main Applications

DETDA is a high-performance aromatic diamine chain extender and curing agent widely used in:

• Polyurethane (PU) elastomers, casting elastomers, spray polyurea elastomers
• Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) systems
• PU coatings, sealants, structural adhesives
• High-resilience PU products requiring high strength, toughness and heat resistance

It features fast curing rate, moderate reactivity, excellent mechanical properties, good hydrolysis resistance and thermal stability.

• Standard packaging: 25 kg / 200 kg net weight in sealed iron drums or HDPE drums
• Custom packaging: 1000 kg IBC tanks available for bulk orders
• All packages are moisture-proof, sealed and labeled clearly for international transport

6. Storage & Shelf Life

• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, strong oxidizers and acids.
• Keep containers tightly closed when not in use to prevent oxidation, moisture absorption and contamination.
• Recommended storage temperature: 5 – 30 °C
• Shelf Life: 12 months from the production date in unopened original packaging under proper storage conditions.

7. Handling and Transportation

• Avoid inhalation of vapor, skin and eye contact. Wear protective gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing during operation.
• In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and plenty of water.
• In case of eye contact, rinse continuously with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
• DETDA is classified as general chemical cargo for most international sea/land transportation; not classified as dangerous goods under normal transport conditions (please confirm local IMDG/ADR regulations for export).
• Avoid leakage, rain exposure and physical damage during shipment.
