• Appearance: It is a white monoclinic crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless.
• Density: 2.306 g/mL (at 16℃).
• Melting Point: 370℃ (decomposition).
• Solubility: Sparingly soluble in water, practically insoluble in cold water, insoluble in ethanol, and soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid and acetic acid.
• pH Value: 7 (10g/L, 20℃ suspension).
• Stability: Stable in air, incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.

• Food Industry: It is used as a buffering agent, leavening agent, dough conditioner, nutritional supplement, yeast food, emulsifier, curing agent, antioxidant synergist and stabilizer. It can be used in biscuits, infant - formula foods, etc.
• Feed Industry: As a feed additive, it is used to supplement phosphorus and calcium elements in livestock and poultry feeds, which can promote feed digestion, increase animal weight, egg - laying rate or milk - production rate, and can also be used to treat diseases such as rickets, osteomalacia and anemia.
