Cationic PAM used as the retention agent in papermaking

Cationic PAM which is water soluble high molecular polymer acrylic acid, has good effect in papermaking system, like news paper,paperboard, and fine paper, for the retention of fibers and fillers, It is also used for acceleration and dewatering of solid material on the wire.

Application:

Cationic PAM should be added into system close to head box, according to pulp property, technology and paper machine. Normally, the adding amount in pulp system is about 0.01-0.05%.

Operation Method: dilute with 15-30℃ pure water for 60-90minurtes, to get 0.25%-0.5% solution. Before add into pulp with metering pump, diluted 10 times with pure water. So the chemical concentration would be 0.02%-0.05%.
