PRODUCT DESCRIPTION：

PIBSA is an additive intermediate prepared from highly active polyisobutylene (molecular weight=1000).

APPLICATION:
Production of Dispersants: It is used for the production of various types of polyisobutylene succinimide ashless dispersants and borated dispersants. These dispersants are widely applied in lubricating oils, which can effectively prevent the precipitation of impurities, carbon deposits, etc. in the oil products, and maintain the cleanliness and good lubrication performance of the oil products.
Preparation of Emulsifiers: It is an important raw material for the preparation of cutting fluid emulsifiers, and is mostly used in semi-synthetic cutting fluid systems. It can endow the cutting fluid with good emulsification stability, lubricity and rust resistance. It can also be used for the production of emulsifiers for emulsion explosives. Compared with other emulsifiers, the explosives emulsified by PIBSA have a longer storage period stability and better effects.
Petrochemical Auxiliaries: It is used as a processing auxiliary in petrochemical plants. For example, it can be used as a leveling agent in the special C5 resin for road marking paints, and as a processing auxiliary and plasticizer in the petroleum refining process. It can improve the performance of petroleum products, such as anti-voltage breakdown, moisture resistance and self-healing properties.
Other Applications: As an additive in adhesive and sealant formulations, it can enhance the viscosity and weather resistance, and improve the water resistance and oxidation temperature performance. In addition, after cross-linking, PIBSA can be used as a superabsorbent resin, and can also be used as a viscosity reducer for drilling fluids, cement slurries, as well as a water treatment agent, etc.

PIBSA can be used for producing various types of polyisobutylene succinimide and boronized dispersants. It can also be used for the production of emulsifiers and processing aids for petrochemical plants. The recommended addition of KE7100 is 2 % - 10 %.
