Sodium pyrosulfite

Sodium pyrosulfite is white or yellow crystal powder or small crystal, with a strong SO2 smell, the specific gravity of 1.4, soluble in water, the aqueous solution is acidic, contact with strong acid will release SO2 and generate the corresponding salts, for a long time in the air, it will be oxidized into Na2S2O6, so the product cannot exist for a long time.
