Benzoic acid was sulfonated with fumigant sulfuric acid at 240-250℃ for 5h to produce 3, 5-disulfonic benzoic acid, and then alkaline melted with sodium hydroxide at 300℃. The reaction product obtained was neutralized by sulfuric acid to weak basic, filtered and concentrated, acidified to weak acidic, and extracted with ether. The crude product obtained from diethyl ether recovery from the extract was recrystalized with water to obtain the finished product.
