Main purpose

PEG-400 is most suitable for making soft capsules. Because PEG400 is a liquid, it has a wide range of compatibility with various solvents, is a good solvent and solubilizer, is widely used in liquid preparations, such as oral liquid, eye drops, etc. When vegetable oil is not suitable for active ingredient carrier, PEG is the preferred material. This is mainly due to the fact that PEG is stable and not perishable, and injections containing PEG are very safe and stable when heated to 150 degrees Celsius. In addition, it can be mixed with high molecular weight (PEG) and the mixture has good solubility and good compatibility with drugs.

 

⒉ PEG-1450,3350 is the most suitable for paste, suppository, cream. Due to its high water solubility and wide melting point range, PEG1450 and 3350 can be used alone or mixed to produce long storage time and melting point variation range in accordance with the requirements of drugs and physical effects. Suppositories using PEG matrix are less irritating than those using traditional oil matrix.

High molecular weight PEGs (PEG4000, PEG6000, PEG8000) are useful as adhesives in the manufacture of tablets because of their plasticity and their ability to increase the release of drugs from the tablet during the production process. PEG can make the surface of the tablet shiny and smooth, and not easy to damage. In addition, a small amount of high molecular weight PEG (PEG4000, PEG6000, PEG8000) can prevent the adhesion between the coated tablets and the adhesion between the bottles.

1, polyethylene glycol series products can be used in pharmaceuticals. Polyethylene glycol with low relative molecular weight can be used as solvent, cosolvent, dispersant, o/w type emulsifier and stabilizer for the production of cement suspension, emulsion, injection, etc., also used as water-soluble ointment matrix and supple matrix. Solid waxy polyethylene glycol with high relative molecular weight is often used to increase the viscosity and solidity of low molecular weight liquid PEG. And other drugs; For drugs that are not easy to dissolve in water, the product can be used as the carrier of solid dispersants to achieve the purpose of solid dispersion. PEG4000 and PEG6000 are good coating materials, hydrophilic polishing materials, membrane materials and capsule materials, plasticizer, lubricant and dropping pill matrix, used for the preparation of tablets, pills, capsules, microcapsules, etc.

 

2, PEG4000, PEG6000 in the pharmaceutical industry as a vehicle, used as suppository, paste preparation; Paper industry used as a finishing agent, increase the gloss and smoothness of paper; As an additive in the rubber industry, it can increase the lubricity and plasticity of rubber products, reduce the power consumption in the processing process, and extend the service life of rubber products.

 

3, polyethylene glycol series products can be used as ester surfactant raw materials.

 

4, PEG-200 can be used as a medium of organic synthesis and heat carrier with high requirements, used in daily chemical industry as moisturizer, inorganic salt solubilizer, viscosity regulator; Used as softener and antistatic agent in textile industry; It is used as wetting agent in paper and pesticide industry.

 

5. PEG-400, PEG-600, PEG-800 are used as the matrix of medicine and cosmetics, lubricant and wetting agent of rubber industry and textile industry. PEG-600 in the metal industry added to the electrolyte can enhance the grinding effect, enhance the gloss of the metal surface.

 

6, PEG-1000, PEG-1500 in medicine, textile, cosmetics industry used as a matrix or lubricant, softener; Used as a dispersant in the coating industry to improve the water dispersion and flexibility of the resin, the dosage is 10-30%; Ink can improve the solubility of dyes, reduce its volatility, especially in wax paper and printing inks, can also be used in ballpoint ink to adjust the ink viscosity; In the rubber industry as a dispersant, promote vulcanization, used as a dispersant for carbon black filling filler.

 

7, PEG-2000, PEG-3000 used as metal processing casting agent, metal drawing, stamping or forming lubricant and cutting fluid, grinding cooling lubrication polishing agent, welding agent, etc. It is used in the paper industry as a lubricant, etc., and also as a hot melt adhesive to increase rapid rewetting capacity.

 

8, PEG-4000, PEG-6000, PEG-8000 in medicine, cosmetics industry production as a matrix, play a role in adjusting viscosity, melting point; It is used as lubricant and coolant in rubber and metal processing industry, dispersant and emulsifier in pesticide and pigment industry production.
