I. Performance and use:

HEDP (hydroxyethyl diphosphonic acid) is an organic phosphonic acid scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, which can form stable complex with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions and dissolve the oxides on the metal surface. It can still play a good role in corrosion and scale inhibition at 250℃, and is still very stable at high pH, not easy to hydrolyze, and not easy to decompose under general photothermal conditions. Acid, alkali and chlorine oxidation resistance is better than other organic phosphonic acid (salt). It can form hexacyclic chelate with metal ions, especially calcium ions in water, so it has good scale inhibition effect and obvious dissolution limit effect. When combined with other water treatment agents, it shows ideal synergistic effect.

HEDP solid is a high purity product, suitable for cold areas in winter; It is especially suitable for cleaning agent and daily chemical additive in electronic industry.

HEDP is widely used in electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, chemical fertilizer and other industrial circulating cooling water systems and medium and low pressure boilers, oil field water injection and oil pipeline scale and corrosion inhibition; In THE TEXTILE industry, it can be used as metal and non-metal cleaning agent, peroxide stabilizer and color fixing agent in bleaching and dyeing industry, complex agent in non-cyanide electroplating industry, and carrying agent of radioactive elements in medicine industry.

3. Method of use

HEDP (hydroxyethyl diphosphonic acid) is generally used as scale inhibitor at a concentration of 1-10mg /L, and as corrosion inhibitor at a concentration of 10-50mg/L; Generally used as cleaning agent concentration of 1000 ~ 2000mg/L; It is usually used in conjunction with polycarboxylic acid type scale inhibitor and dispersant. When used in other industries, the dosage should be determined according to the test.

4. Packaging and storage

HEDP liquid is packaged in plastic drums, 30kg or 250kg per barrel, or determined according to user requirements. The solids are packed in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene bags, each bag with a net weight of 25kg, or according to user's requirements. Store in a cool and ventilated place, moisture-proof, storage period of 12 months.
