Acetonitrile is the chemical compound with formula CH3CN. This colourless liquid is the simplest organic nitrile. It is produced mainly as a byproduct of acrylonitrile manufacture. It is used as raw matterial of medicine,agricultural chemical,solvent for analysis and plastic industry,it also could be as solvent of synthetic fiber and organic extractant.

Used to make vitamin B1 and other medicines, and spices, fatty acid extraction, etc.
A solvent used in the petroleum industry to remove tar, phenol, and other substances from petroleum hydrocarbons.
A solvent used for extracting fatty acids from vegetable oil in oil industry.
