White loose powder, no smell, tasteless; insoluble in water and hot sodium hydroxide solution but dissoluble in dilute hydrochloric acid.

Application

This product has a large surface area, good mobility, a greater adsorption to drugs, strong hydrophilic property, in the amount of 1% in order to accelerate the disintegration of the tablet, and disintegrating very fine, there is conducive to drug absorption. This product is used as a glidant general concentration of 0.15 to 3%. The product of oil, cream slip drugs is particularly suitable. With its preparation into particles with good flowability and compressibility, poor liquidity and rarely sticking phenomenon.
