Usage:

It is mainly used as leveling agent in nitro paint and metal paint to improve the fluidity of paint. Used as anti-whitening agent in cellulose acetate and alkyd resin coatings, suitable for high relative humidity environment. Used in alkyd paint as an anti-wrinkle agent. It can also be used in ink and vinyl acetate emulsion. It is also an intermediate of the anticancer drug isoharringtonine.
